This policy explains what OpenShelf collects and how it is handled, consistent with India's DPDP Act and the GDPR.
What we collect
- Search queries — sent to Openverse to fetch results. Not tied to your identity on the free tier.
- Usage counters — free-tier download counts are stored locally in your browser, not on our servers.
- Account & billing data — for paid plans, we process your email and payment metadata via our payment processors (Razorpay / Stripe). We never store full card details.
- Analytics — privacy-friendly, aggregate page views with no cross-site tracking.
How we use it
To operate the service, process payments, provide support, and improve search quality. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing getdeaddictedllc@gmail.com.
Data retention
Account data is retained while your account is active and for as long as legally required after closure.
